Alkaline Diet

Have you ever felt hungry after eating a huge meal? Do you exercise daily and still not shed a pound? Do you see yourself aging before your eyes and feel tired more often than not? Are you overweight? Have you wondered why cancer, heart disease, obesity and diabetes rates are skyrocketing throughout the United States? The answer is quite simple: ACID OVERLOAD.

The food we buy in our supermarket today is actually forming acid in the body - meat, cheese, eggs, bread, cereal, milk, coffee, chocolate, cakes, cookies, pies, etc. are all acid forming. This over-acidification of body fluids and tissues are linked to every known disease including that sluggish, fatigued feeling many of us complain about everyday, not to mention the endless list of digestive disorders and medical problems.

When your body is overly acidic, you become vulnerable to germs, yeast, bacteria, molds and fungi that thrive in acid. So many people today live on highly processed, over-cooked foods and that is why we hear and see so many TV and radio commercials for anti-acids. What is the opposite of ACID? ALKALINE. Alkaline foods include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, seeds and nuts.

It can be difficult for our bodies to get rid of all the acids we create from food, stress and our own metabolism. You would think if we have a healthy body, we would maintain sufficient alkaline reserves to meet emergency demands. However, when excess acids must be continually neutralized, our alkaline reserves are depleted, leaving the body in a weakened, disease-prone condition.

This concept of acid/alkaline imbalance as the cause of disease is not a new one. Edgar Cayce, the "Sleeping Prophet", was one of the first people who talked about the need to alkalize the body. Even eating the best of organic fruits and vegetables, 97% of our food still consists of oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen and carbon that will still be reduced to acid waste. That is why many have turned to ionized water to help get rid of this acid waste and allow more nutrients from our good food to be absorbed in the body, making us less hungry and more energized.

Weight loss and regaining our energy levels occurs more easily when we take the first steps to becoming more alkaline instead of acidic. Ionized water molecules are greatly reduced in size, offering a better hydration of the body. The minerals in the water are negatively charged, making them more effectively absorbed plus are loaded with bound oxygen and negative hydrogen ions, making it nature's original antioxidant.

Ionized water is used by millions of Japanese and Korean families to heal their bodies and has been a part of their culture since the 80s. Keep in mind, it is impossible for disease to survive in an alkaline body. Spend some time in the produce section and eat plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, beans, legumes and nuts to give your body what it needs to stay alkaline and reduce acid in the body.
